Het zit er alweer bijna op. Wat is die tijd weer omgevlogen! Vandaag alweer de voor laatste tag van 2011.

Voor de techniek van vandaag moet je cht even zijn video bekijken.

Hier is de ingredientenlijst van Tim:

supplies: melting pot, craft sheet, clear utee, kool tools, clear shrink plastic, heat tool, adirondack alcohol inks (lettuce/meadow/ginger/red pepper), ink applicator tool, glossy accents, paint dabber (snow cap), distress inks (winter seasonal/broken china/faded jeans/chipped sapphire/fired brick/walnut stain/peeled paint), ink blending tool, archival ink (jet black), gloss cardstock; scissors; CMS118; die (holly branch/tag & bookplate); foam tape

Werkwijze:

step 1: apply assorted colors of alcohol inks (lettuce/meadow/ginger/red pepper) to the ink applicator tool. 

Stap 1 breng verschillende kleuren alcohol inkt aan op je alcohol iunkt applicator

step 2: ink the textured side of the shrink plastic pieces and let dry.

stap 2 inkt de achterzijde van je krimpfolie stansjes en laat drogen.

 
step 3: die cut a #8 tag from gloss cardstock.

stap 3 stans een tag uit glossy cardtsock met de tag & bookplate stans.

step 4: stamp images on a second piece of gloss cardstock with archival ink.

stap 4 stempel je plaatjes op een ander stuk gossy cardstock

step 5: dry stamped images with heat tool.

stap 5 droog met de heat tool.

step 6: cut around both stamped images with scissors leaving a small border (yes i know this part takes a while but it's worth it...).

stap 6 knip je plaatjes uit met een klein randje.

step 7: ink over stamped santa with distress ink (fired brick) using ink blending tool.

stap 7 kleur de santa met distress inkt fired brick en je inkt blending tool.

step 8: continue with additional colors (walnut stain) making sure to leave the areas you want white un-inked.

stap 8 ga door met kleuren met Walnut stain, sla dedelen over die je wit wilt houden,

step 9: ink over merry christmas with distress ink (peeled paint) using inkt blending tool.

stap 9 inkt de Merry Christmas met pelled paint d.m.v. je inkt blending tool.

step 10: heat both inked images to set distress ink into gloss paper. *note: i love the look of distress inked gloss paper, since it has both color and gloss (it almost looks like plastic).

stap 10 fixeer de distress inkt op het glossy cardstock door het te verhitten met de heat tool.

step 11: ink the die cut gloss tag with various colors of distress ink (shades of blues) using ink blending tool.

stap 11 inkt de glossy cardstock met verschillende kleuren distres inkt d.m.v. je inkt blending tool. 

step 12: spritz water in your hands and flick water on to inked tag.

stap 12 spray wat water uit je mini mister op je hand en schud het op je tag.

step 13: heat spritzed tag with heat tool - notice the water droplets will create a faux-bleach effect on the gloss paper (way more than using this technique on regular cardstock).

stap 13 droog je tag met de heat tool. De waterdruppels geven een soort bleek effect. Dit effect is op glossy cardstock groter dan op gewoon cardstock.

step 14: apply foam tape to the back of the stamped and cut pieces. *note: i used 2 layers on the "merry christmas" text.

stap 14 breng foamtape aan op de achterzijde van santa en de merry christmas text. de laatste heeft 2 laagjes foamtape gehad.

step 15: adhere both to the tag.

step 16: since i was layering my shrink pieces on the blue background, i wanted them to "pop" a little more so i lightly painted the backs (inked side) with paint dabber (snow cap).

 stap 16 omdat ik mijn krimpfolie figuurtjes op de baluw achtergornd ga plakken wil ik ze er iets meer uit laten springen daarom heb ik de achterkant aangezet met een paint dabber snowcap.

step 17: adhere the shrink pieces to the tag with glossy accents and let dry...quick tag huh?

stap 17 plak de krimp plastic fuguurtjes op de tag met glossy accent en laat drogen.

Nu dat was hem weer voor vandaag. Nog één tag te gaan! Ben benieuwd wat hij nu als laatste tag gaat maken.
